Benchmark Design has worked closely with QMatic Australia to develop a queueing system linked to a hospital administration system.
The Melton Health Super Clinic was designed from the ground up to in corporate a ticket based queueing system to manage patient flow in the facility. Benchmark Design developed a 'middleware' solution to integrate the QMatic queueing system with the iSOFT iPM Patient Administration System. The middleware responds to events generated by the queueing system to query and validate iiPM patient appointments and to notify iPM of arrivals and departures.
The Melton Health service was a Gold Winner of the "Doing It Better Award" at the 2009 Victorian Public Healthcare Awards.
ACT Health is running a trial of the system at the Paediatrics Clinics at The Canberra Hospital.
The system is promoted as a standard solution jointly by QMatic Australia and iSOFT Australia (CSC). |
